Meet Hercules

Hercules is exactly what his name suggests-a big, strong boy with an even bigger heart! He absolutely adores people and is happiest when he's getting pets, attention, cuddles, and of course-plenty of treats and belly rubs. He's the kind of dog who will happily be your shadow and soak up all the love you have to give.

Hercules hasn't had much consistency or stability in his life so far, and as a result, he's still learning important social skills-especially with other dogs. He's beginning to figure out how to play, but his size and excitement can make him a bit too enthusiastic, and he sometimes struggles to read or respond to corrections from other dogs.

He has also shown some resource guarding, mainly around food, and to a lesser extent with water bowls and toys. The good news is that Hercules responds well to correction and is eager to learn-he just needs guidance, structure, and consistency.
Because of this, Hercules would do best in a home experienced with dog behavior, and preferably as an only dog, where he can continue to grow and succeed.
