Meet Jaxon!

Jaxon is a sweet, playful 2-year-old pitbull-type mix who's learning to enjoy life outside the shelter! He's becoming more comfortable meeting new people and showing off his lovable personality.

Jaxon loves destroying stuffies, fetch, tug-of-war, and zooming around with his favorite toys. He's also affectionate and enjoys soaking up love from his people!

Jaxon gets along well with other dogs, especially playful ones, but he could also be happy as your one-and-only pup! He's curious about the cats in his foster home, so with slow, thoughtful introductions, he may be able to live with feline friends, too.

Jaxon is still working on his manners and can get a little mouthy and jumpy when excited. Because of this, he would likely do best in a home with older kids who are comfortable around an energetic dog and can give him space when needed.

Jaxon also struggles with some separation anxiety, and his fosters are working with him to build confidence when left alone. He may need time and patience as he adjusts, but he does eventually settle and quiet down in his crate.

Jaxon is looking for a patient, understanding family willing to help him build confidence, polish his manners, and feel secure. With time, consistency, and love, he has so much potential to blossom into a wonderful companion!
