Major (p) - American Staffordshire Terrier and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in New York, New York

Meet Major!

Major is a handsome Alabama boy with his whole life ahead of him, and he is ready to make sure the best part of his story is still to come.

Major and his siblings, Story, Palmer, and Booker, were found on the streets of Alabama without their mom. These puppies should have been growing up surrounded by the safety and love of a family, but instead they were left to fend for themselves far too young.

Thankfully, Major was given a second chance. Now he is safe, cared for, and ready to discover all the wonderful things puppyhood should be about. He deserves a family who will help him learn, grow, play, and become the happy, confident dog he was always meant to be.

Major's journey may have started with uncertainty, but his future can be filled with everything he has been missing: a warm home, a loving family, fun adventures, and someone who will never give up on him.

Could you be the family Major has been waiting for? Apply to adopt this special boy today!

The American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as the Amstaff, is a medium sized, muscular breed known for its loyalty and courage. Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
