Natalie - American Staffordshire Terrier and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption

Meet Natalie!

Natalie is a 5 1/2 year old, Spayed Female, Pit Bull mix.

Natalie is the cutest blue house hippo we've encountered in a long time! She's sweet, wiggly and just a joy to be around. She loves everyone and has done well with other dogs in her previous home. She will likely do ok with cats after a slow and proper introduction. She's a rambunctious girl and might be a bit much for younger kids, so older kids might be best for her. We think she should do well in most homes!

If Natalie sounds like a dog you would like to check out please visit our website to fill out the adoption application: https://bit.ly/HSofMacombadoptionapplication

If your application was approved and you received a call back from the Humane Society of Macomb for a meet and greet, plan to take the animal home that day. We cannot place puppies/dogs on hold to come pick up for another day.

All Humane Society of Macomb animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested and microchipped.Thank you for showing an interest in our pets. We can never guarantee the breeds of the animals. We do not DNA test. Please feel free to call us with any questions.

The American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as the Amstaff, is a medium sized, muscular breed known for its loyalty and courage. Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
