Benito - American Staffordshire Terrier and Boxer Dog for Adoption in Montclair, New Jersey

Meet Benito aka The Goodest Boy looking for his forever home!

We took Benito into our rescue when he lost his home due to landlord issues. We are so happy to help him find a forever home - he is a great boy and will make a super addition to a lucky home. He loves meeting new people, and wants to connect with his new home so badly.

From Christine at @WiseCanineTraining came to meet him:

"Benito is a 3-4-year-old neutered boy with a really nice, solid temperament. I recently went to visit him at the kennel where he’s staying while he gets ready for adoption, and he was fantastic.

He walks nicely around other dogs without making a big deal about them, greets people very politely on walks, and is able to focus, engage, and learn even in distracting environments. According to the person who took him in to help get him rehomed, Benito is also housebroken! He also keeps his kennel clean.
He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find his forever family.

If you already have a dog, a meet-and-greet will be required to make sure everyone is comfortable together.

Benito is truly a wonderful dog who deserves a great home. Please share and help us find his person! He’s a gem!"
