Some dogs come into your life and immediately steal your heart. Matrix and Astor are that kind of pair. These two girls are incredibly special, and while they may need a little time to feel comfortable in a new environment, once they know they are safe, their sweet and silly personalities truly shine.

Both Matrix and Astor are gentle, loving, and incredibly sweet. They can be a little shy or reserved at first, but give them some patience, reassurance, and time, and you will soon see the playful girls hiding underneath those initial nerves. Once they feel safe, they love to be silly, enjoy attention and cuddles, and show just how much love they have to give.

Great with children!
Both girls have wonderful temperaments with children, including both younger and older kids. They are gentle and sweet and would love a family where they can be part of the everyday fun.

Great with other dogs!
Matrix and Astor absolutely love having other dogs around. They are wonderful with their canine friends and often seem to gain confidence from the companionship of other dogs. Of course, their very best friend is each other.

What about cats?
Neither girl has been formally cat tested, so we cannot guarantee how they would do with cats. Both girls have an extremely low, almost nonexistent prey drive, which is encouraging, but a proper introduction and cat testing would still be needed.

And then there's their bond...

Matrix and Astor are a bonded pair, and we are committed to finding them a home together. They have each other for comfort and companionship, and we believe separating them would mean taking away an important part of what makes each girl feel safe and confident.

They do not need a perfect family. They need a patient family who will give them the time to decompress, learn their new surroundings, and understand that the shy girls you meet at first are only the beginning.

Once they know they are safe, you will get to experience the real Matrix and Astor—the sweet, goofy, playful, affectionate girls who have so much love to give.
