Meet Boone

Boone is one of the Lucky Pups, born on January 11th, and hes every bit the blessing his name suggests. After getting a second chance alongside his siblings, Boone is now ready to find a forever home of his own.

The only boy in a litter of sisters, Boone has been learning social skills from day oneand it shows! This chunky little guy is equal parts cuddly and playful. He loves snuggling up with his foster moms just as much as he enjoys a good wrestling match (though his foster brother Winston usually keeps him in check).

Don't let his serious photos fool you, Boone is a total goofball. His personality is growing every day, and he's quickly becoming a fun, affectionate, and entertaining companion.

Boone currently weighs about 35 pounds and is growing fast. We expect him to be 60+ pounds full grown. His sister's DNA results show a mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, and Dogo Argentino breeds known for their loyalty, intelligence, and loving nature.

Like most puppies, Boone is in his teething phase and especially enjoys using his teefers. Hes learning to redirect to toys and chews, and hell thrive with continued guidance. He sleeps soundly and without interruption throughout the night in his crate and has mastered being walked on a leash with a harness.

Boone is fully vetted, microchipped and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He would do amazing in a family with children and loves the company of another canine companion too. He grew up with cats.

At this young age, Boone will do best in a home where someone is around most of the day to provide structure, playtime, and companionship as he grows into a confident, well-adjusted dog.
