Meet CANELO, a handsome 3-year-old Staffie/Pittie mix with a big heart, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. After spending 16 months in boarding, CANELO is more than ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for.

CANELO can be a little fear-based when meeting new people, so he needs a patient, experienced owner who will give him the time and guidance to build trust. Once he knows you, he's an incredibly loyal, affectionate companion who forms a deep bond with his people.

At the boarding facility, CANELO has done wonderfully with adults, children, and other dogs. He's an active boy who will thrive with regular exercise, structure, and confident leadership.

Because of his enthusiasm and energy, CANELO would do best in a home with children over 12 or in an adult-only home. He could be happy as the only dog or with a compatible canine companion.

CANELO is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to leave kennel life behind forever. All he needs is someone willing to give him the love, patience, and commitment he's been waiting so long to find.
