Meet Sammy Davis, he is a 1-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix and weighs 50 pounds.
He is a bundle of love with a sweet, easygoing personality. This handsome guy has the perfect mix of playful energy and laid-back charm.
Sammy Davis is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys being around people. He has a gentle nature and a happy spirit and gets along well with other dogs.
Whether hes soaking up the sunshine or hanging out with his humans, Sammy Davis is simply content being part of the action.
He would do great in a home where he can get lots of love, attention, and daily activity.
This sweet guy is kennel trained and does not have any accidents. He has also been around the grandchildren of his foster family and did well with them. I do think due to his size a home with children over 7 would be best.
Sammy Davis is located in Houston, Texas, but can be transported to most states for an additional fee of $300.
ABOUT: AMERICAN STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER DOG BREED
The American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as the Amstaff, is a medium sized, muscular breed known for its loyalty and courage. Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
