Some dogs just deserve a second chance and Milo is one of them.

This handsome gentleman found himself at the local shelter after being picked up as a stray. Sadly, senior dogs like Milo are often overlooked, but Sunnyside Street Dogs knew this sweet boy still had so much love to give. He was rescued just in time and has spent the last two months showing his foster family what an absolute gem he is!

Milo (known as Gus with his foster) is just about as laid-back as they come. He gets along wonderfully with his two medium-sized foster siblings and has even met a small dog with no issues. We think he would do best in a home without cats, as he's not quite sure what to make of them.

His favorite activities? Sunbathing, chewing on bones, napping, snuggling on the couch, and playing in his kiddie pool! Milo absolutely LOVES the water and will happily sit outside chomping at the splashes.

He may be 8 years old, but don't let that number fool you... this goofy, gentle boy has plenty of life, love, and adventures left to share.

Milo has been an incredible foster dog, and now its his turn to find the family he can call his own.

*We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.

*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.

*Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.

*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

*All of our adopters are invited to join our Alum Pupdates Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
