At approximately 10 months old, Captain has already experienced his first major career setback.
He was FIRED from his electrical apprenticeship.
We're not saying he was a terrible electrician. We're just saying the industry has standards, and Captain apparently has the attention span of a goldfish and the professional qualifications of a wet noodle.
But that's okay! Because Captain has decided to pursue a different career path.
Professional Family Dog.
And honestly? His résumé is surprisingly impressive for someone who has never paid a bill in his life.
Dog friendly: Absolutely! Potential coworkers welcome.
Cat friendly: Even the feline management team approves.
Loves kids: Finally, coworkers who appreciate his level of maturity!
Loves kids: Finally, coworkers who appreciate his level of maturity!
House trained: He understands the importance of indoor plumbing.
Kennel trained: Has his own personal office.
Professional cuddler: Willing to work overtime without additional compensation.
Movies & music: A cultured gentleman with absolutely zero financial responsibilities.
Personality: Approximately 97% derp, 3% functioning brain cells.
Now, Captain does have a few areas where his performance evaluations indicate room for improvement.
He's still learning that four paws on the floor is generally preferred over launching himself at people like an overenthusiastic baby kangaroo.
He's also working on boundaries, leash manners, and navigating stairs.
But he's young, playful, affectionate, and eager to learn. He's got that wonderful puppy combination of “LET'S DO SOMETHING!” followed immediately by “Actually, can we cuddle?”
And underneath all that glorious puppy nonsense is a genuinely sweet boy who just wants to be part of someone's family.
Captain doesn't need a perfect family. He needs people who understand that puppies are still learning, who can laugh at his goofy moments, reinforce the behaviors they want to see, and give him the consistency he needs to grow into an amazing adult dog.
He's got the personality. He's got the looks. He's got the references.
What he doesn't have?
A FOREVER HOME.
And quite frankly, we'd love to see this unemployed freeloader finally move out of his foster parents' house.
NOW HIRING: ONE FOREVER FAMILY FOR CAPTAIN!
