I weigh 45 pounds.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE?
I have been told that I am a looker and I could not agree more! I have a beautiful orange and white coat with a white stripe down my chest to belly. Some say I have fox-like features because of my cute big ears that always stand up.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT?
I am not picky! I am currently eating kibble for my meals. And I love ALL the snacks, but I am willing to work for them, so feel free to dole them out liberally!
WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE?
I am the happiest girl that can hardly keep still when I see you. I love being around people and trying to live my best life. I love all the people that I have met—and they all love me! I always have a smile on my face, and work so hard to make sure you do as well. When it is time to settle down, I love to snuggle next to my person watching a movie or good reality show. I am very sociable so I look forward to meeting more dogs and growing my friend group with the right introductions.
DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY:
It all starts out with breakfast so I will be energized for our day! If the weather is right we can go for a nice walk in the neighborhood or your favorite trail. I have been learning how to paddle board and I know how to swim, but enjoy taking in the views from the board with my foster dad or foster sister Prada (who pushes me off at times!) I recently went camping and that was lots of fun! When my foster dad has to go to work, I enjoy napping in my pen, aka my apartment, and then he comes home so we can start playing.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY?
I love all toys! My favorite is a chew/bite toy that I grab onto and we can play tug or I will fetch it for you. Oh, and I love chasing the flirt pole around...gotta get that toy attached to it!
DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS?
I know sit, down, up up to be let on the couch and also a break command. I am learning leave it, too. I love structure and learning through engagement. We can do some training together!
WHAT SCARES YOU?
So far, I am a little unsure about these hardwood floors. My grip is not the best on them, which makes it tough for me to move quickly on them. But if there is a throw rug, I will be dancing around trying to get you to join.
HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN?
I have met some children when I go to the lake and they do not bother me.
DO YOU LIKE CATS?
I have not been around cats.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS?
I love my canine foster sister, even though she can be pushy at times. A canine companion in my forever home might be fun if we do it right. Please set me up for success with slow introductions!
IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE?
I love hanging out with my foster dad, and foster sister. We try and be outdoors as much as the weather will let us. If that is on a nature walk with a long lead or taking a cruise on the paddle board, I am all for it. I just want to go where you want to go.
HOW IS YOUR HEALTH?
I am doing great! No issues to report!
WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION?
I live with my foster dad, and foster dog sister. Foster dad is my favorite! He takes me lots of places and introduces me to his friends and family. He loves to see how I am the star of the party.
WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE?
I hang out in my apartment, as my foster dad likes to call it.
WHERE DO YOU SLEEP?
I sleep in my apartment, but every once in a while after long adventures, I sleep on the bed with my foster dad and sister.
DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH?
I love going for walks and sniffing all the great smells. I have been getting a little more freedom on a long line so I can learn to come back when called.
DO YOU HAVE ANY NOT SO GREAT HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?
I am very independent and, when I see squirrels and birds, I want to chase them—especially in the backyard. It is just my working breed coming out. I am learning how to walk in a heel position and I have been making great progress.
ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)?
I am! Since being with my foster dad I have not had one accident inside. I also learned how to use the dog door, so I enjoy taking myself out and coming back in.
DO YOU LIKE WATER?
I love going paddle boarding and will jump on the board no problem. I love being belly deep and running along the shore line. I know how to swim, but for now prefer to have my foster dad paddle me around. You could say I am taking advantage of being his passenger princess.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY?
They give me nothing but love and structure. I have to work for my treats and rewards, which teaches me new tricks. My foster dad gives me freedom and lets me make good decisions. And I love to play with my foster sister, Prada. She has been showing me the ropes on living my best life.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOUR FUTURE ADOPTER?
I am a middle aged gal with so much life to live and love to share with you. I would love to meet you and give you a big kiss. Life is short, and I just want to be out living it with you. I am an outdoorsy type of girl, but I do love me a good night in. Can we have some fun and cuddles together?
