DESCRIPTION
I am available!
I was brought in as a stray, but no one claimed me. I am now looking for a new home! I am a very sweet and energetic boy, estimated to be around a year old. I am a medium sized mix breed (we think possibly Staffy) and weigh close to 40lbs. I am very people-friendly and don't seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. The person that found me states I cannot be around small animals like cats and poultry. I have a very high prey drive and will likely eat a chicken. It would be best for me to go to a home with animals bigger than I am. I would do well with respectful kids and would make a great family dog! I am not yet neutered, but I have an appointment scheduled on July 21st. I am already vaccinated and microchipped, now ready to meet my new loving family!
ABOUT: AMERICAN STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER DOG BREED

Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment.
