Sugar was a devoted mom in a high-intake shelter, where she cared for her puppies despite the stressful environment. She is now safe in foster care with Peps Pals Rescue and is ready to find her forever home.

Sugar has an affectionate nature and truly enjoys being with her people. She takes treats gently, and already knows basic commands like sit. She is treat-motivated, eager to please, and loves receiving affection from her humans.

In the home, Sugar strikes a nice balance with a medium energy level. She enjoys getting out for walks and spending time with her people, but she is also happy to relax and settle in afterward. She can be a little jumpy when excited, but she is gentle and sweet with her enthusiasm.

Adoption Fee: $250 plus health certificate and transport (if out of state, varies by location typically $200-$300).
This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, microchip (additional $12.99 registration fee required at time of adoption), spay/neuter, and heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.
