MEET FRANCES BEAM

Frances Beam is a 3-year-old, 53-pound pittie with a big personality, a low-key lifestyle, and a face that may or may not stare directly into your soul until you hand over the snacks.

Frances is affectionate, playful, goofy, confident, and wonderfully easygoing. She loves people, happily comes over for pets, and absolutely has a cuddle-bug side when the mood strikes. New people? No problem. Frances is outgoing, friendly, and ready to make another friend.

THE GOOD STUFF:
• House-trained
• Crate-trained
• Low-energy girl who doesn’t need a marathon-running family
• Great with other dogs and even goes to daycare
• Great with cats and would really like them to play with her
• Has done well with children from infants on up
• Can be left home alone
• No fenced yard required
• Low-maintenance coat and easy grooming
• Treat motivated, which should help with continuing to learn new things

Frances does fine on leash, although she tends to have one destination in mind: BACK INSIDE, PLEASE. Apparently she has decided the great indoors are highly underrated.

She’s also a low shedder, with one important disclaimer: Frances is white. She does shed some white hair, so black clothing choices are between you and your lint roller.

Frances could thrive in all kinds of homes. She could happily live with other pets or soak up the attention as your one-and-only. She doesn’t require a particularly active lifestyle, a fenced yard, or someone home around the clock. Mostly, she’s looking for people who will love her, laugh at her quirks, provide the snacks, and appreciate a very good girl who has come a long way.

One of the best parts of fostering Frances has been watching her become healthy and seeing the wonderful dog underneath blossom.

Frances is up to date on vaccines and preventatives, has no known medical conditions, and is scheduled to be spayed October 19, 2026.

The adoption donation for Frances Beam is $250.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention (age appropriate).

If you would like to meet this dog, you must have an approved application on file and be willing to travel to the Youngstown/Mahoning County, Ohio area for a meet and greet. All of our dogs reside in foster homes. We do not have a physical shelter.

Applications will be reviewed/approved and each dog will be placed in the home that can best meet their individual need. If you live in a residence with a Homeowner’s Association (HOA) please make sure you check that the dog you are interested in does not violate size or breed restrictions. A successful adoption is our goal. Submitting an application does not guarantee adoption of any dog.
We require you call your established veterinarian asap to schedule a wellness visit.
