If youre looking for a dog who is perfectly happy just existing alongside you, Ruthie might be your girl.

Ruthie is our beautiful gray pittie girl with some serious old soul energy. She is lower energy, easygoing, and would much rather hang out with her people than be bouncing off the walls all day. Shes the kind of dog you can bring along to a restaurant, settle her next to your chair, and shes perfectly content to just lay down and take it all in.

Shes currently living in a foster home with kids, an adult dog, and a puppy and is doing great. She is dog friendly and good with cats. Very high-energy dogs can be a little much for her at first, so she may need a little time to warm up and figure them out. Once shes comfortable, she does great, and were even starting to see her playful side come out more and more.

And apparently Ruthie is also quite the traveler! This past weekend she went camping AND out on the boat with her foster family. Shes proving to be one of those dogs who is just really easy to bring along. New adventure? Sure. Restaurant patio? Fine. Hanging around the house all day? Even better.

Most of the time, Ruthies agenda is pretty simple: find a comfortable spot, hang out with her people, and take a nap. Shes affectionate without being demanding and has such a calm, sweet presence.
