Ruby aka Woobie (Formerly Rosie) - American Staffordshire Terrier and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Bartlett, Tennessee

# RUBY “WOOBIE”
### Short Legs. Big Feelings. Absolutely No Brakes.

Meet Ruby, affectionately known as **Woobie** — a little wrecking ball with the heart of a teddy bear and the enthusiasm of a 10-year-old girl who just found out she's going to a Taylor Swift concert.

Ruby doesn't simply enter a room. **She makes an entrance.** Headfirst, full speed, short little legs moving as fast as physically possible, and absolutely convinced that everyone has been waiting their entire lives for her arrival.

And honestly? Once you meet her, you'll understand why.

Woobie LOVES affection. Personal space? Never heard of it. If there's a lap available, she's claiming it. If there's cuddling happening, she's participating. If you stop petting her, she'll probably assume you've made some kind of terrible mistake.

**Her three great loves in life? Her people, cuddles, and HOT DOGS.**

Her greatest enemy? **STAIRS.**

Ruby has no interest in climbing Mount Everest just to get to the second floor. She's got short legs, important people to love, and absolutely nothing to prove.

She's playful, hilarious, wonderful with children, and has a heart so big it's a miracle it fits inside that little body. And her SMILE? Oh, that smile. The kind that could light up an entire room, turn a miserable day around, and make you forget whatever nonsense life threw at you.

But underneath all that wrecking-ball energy is the sweetest little soul who just wants to belong. A girl who loves with everything she's got and asks for nothing more than someone to love her right back.

**Ruby isn't going to tiptoe into your life. She's going to come barreling into it, steal your heart, claim your couch, and make you wonder how you ever lived without her.**

And really, isn't that exactly what a best friend should do?

**LOVE KNOWS NO ZIP CODE!**

Ruby's forever family doesn't have to live right around the corner. Out-of-state adopters are welcome to apply! Transport is available to approved, loving homes with a completed and approved adoption application, subject to transport arrangements.

The American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as the Amstaff, is a medium sized, muscular breed known for its loyalty and courage. Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
