DESCRIPTION
Hi, my name is Sophie, a 10 month old spayed female. I am up to date on all vaccines. I like most dogs, but require a meet and greet. I don't do well with small animals or cats, so the shelter asks a home with older kids please. I'm not much on fetch, I would rather just sit and enjoy the love and pets. I have not been trained, so I could use some training but I do have manners.
ABOUT: AMERICAN STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER DOG BREED
The American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as the Amstaff, is a medium sized, muscular breed known for its loyalty and courage. Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.
The Bull Terrier is a distinctive and energetic dog breed known for its muscular build, egg shaped head, and unique personality. Originally bred for blood sports, Bull Terriers have evolved into affectionate companions with a playful and clownish demeanor. Their short, flat coat comes in a variety of colors. While known for their strong will, Bull Terriers are intelligent and loyal, forming strong bonds with their families. Proper training, socialization, and exercise are essential for the well being of this breed.
