DESCRIPTION
Meet Woody
Woody is a survivor with the sweetest soul. He was rescued just in time from the euthanasia list at Hesperia Shelter after being confiscated from a drug house. Despite what he’s been through, this boy’s heart is still wide open—he just needs a little patience to feel safe.
Woody is learning to trust again. Sudden movements like a raised hand or broom can still scare him, and he’ll run to his crate for comfort—but every day he grows braver and more confident. And once he trusts you... he melts. He gives the best hugs and leans in for love like he’s been waiting his whole life for it.
✠̈ 16 months old
✠̈ ~50 pounds
✠̈ Crate trained & house trained
✠̈ Fully vetted
✠̈ Great with dogs of all sizes
Woody would thrive in a calm, loving home with someone who understands that healing takes time—but the reward is a deeply loyal, incredibly affectionate companion.
He’s not broken... he’s just waiting for his person.
