DESCRIPTION

If you’re looking for a dog to spice up your life, then look no further! Meet Nacho, a handsome 9-month-old, 35 pound Staffordshire Terrier looking for his forever home. Despite his name, Nacho is a very mild-mannered and mellow guy. He can be a bit nervous around new people, so we recommend starting positive reinforcement training with him to help his confident personality shine through. The Bucks County SPCA offers discounted training sessions for adopters! Nacho would do best in a home with children 15 years or older who will respect his space. If there are no children in the home, Nacho would be open to having a canine companion. We would set up a meet-and-greet prior to adoption.
Nacho weighs 35 lbs. and is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on his vaccinations. Visit Nacho at the Quakertown Shelter!
PA Kennel License: Lahaska #1401, Quakertown #7508.

ABOUT: AMERICAN STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER DOG BREED

The American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as the Amstaff, is a medium sized, muscular breed known for its loyalty and courage. Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
