Mama Maisie's story is one of heartbreak and incredible strength.

She was admitted to an already overwhelmed municipal shelter in Georgia while in active labor. One of the puppies had become stuck, putting Maisie and all of her babies in grave danger. By the time help arrived, Maisie had been in distress for far too long. Tragically, none of her puppies survived.

But Maisie did.

She fought with everything she had to make it through. Despite the unimaginable loss she endured, this sweet, gentle girl continues to show nothing but love and resilience. Maisie has already proven how strong her heart is; now she deserves a family who will protect it, cherish it, and make sure she never faces hardship alone again.

Mama Maisie has been through more than any dog ever should, but her story doesn't have to end in tragedy. With the right family, it can finally become the happy ending she deserves.

All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption.
