DESCRIPTION
Hailo is a 4-year-old, 71-lb American Staffordshire mix who’s equal parts playful and laid-back. He loves his toys, chew bones, and a good game of fetch, but he’s just as happy curling up on the couch for a nap afterward.
He’s house-trained, leash-trained, and knows several commands — sit, up, down, and paw! Hailo gets along well with most dogs, especially those who are easygoing and non-confrontational, but he’s not a match for homes with cats. He hasn’t been around young children, so an adults-only or older-teen home would be best.
Hailo was sadly abandoned on a country road, yet he remains a loving, loyal companion. Hailo would thrive with someone patient and understanding who can continue his training and help him feel safe.
If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy dog who’ll make you laugh and then snuggle by your side, Hailo’s your guy!
He's located in Houston, TX and can be transported to most states for a $300 fee.
ABOUT: AMERICAN STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER DOG BREED
The American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as the Amstaff, is a medium sized, muscular breed known for its loyalty and courage. Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
