Meet Sid Farkus!

Sid Farkus is a young neutered male staffie terrier mix. He is extremely underweight at this time and only weighs about 35 pounds. We estimate Sid to be between 3-4 years old.

Sid was recently brought into our partner vet clinic for being unable to eat and having a possible obstruction. In truth, this guy was was so starved that he was eating anything he could possibly find, specifically glass. The owners opted for euthanasia, but the vets felt differently. How could someone possibly treat this beautiful sweet boy so terribly? Thankfully, the vet reached out to us, and we decided Sid was worth the effort to give him a chance at a wonderfully long and loved life.

Sid is now living in a foster home with kids and other dogs, and gaining weight like a champ. His foster momma is keeping us updated on his progress. This kind soul is going to melt your heart! Don't let that "pittie" title scare you away!! This boy is nothing but love.

We are looking for dog savvy adopters with older children in the home. At this time we haven't yet cat tested Sid to know his feelings about felines.
