DESCRIPTION

You know that dog everyone wishes they could find? The one who has the personality, the looks, and that effortless “wow, I love this dog” energy? Yeah… that’s Baer Bubbie. He’s the kind of dog who makes an impression the second you meet him and somehow just keeps getting better the more you’re around him. Happy, goofy, and completely full of life, Baer Bubbie brings this feel-good energy everywhere he goes. He’s playful without being too much, snuggly without being needy, dog friendly, loves the water, smart, and just an all-around solid, easy-to-love kind of guy. And yes… he’s as handsome as he sounds. Just look at him! He’s GORGEOUS.

Watch his video and fall in love with his hunk of love: https://youtu.be/_RRS04uTd7w?si=viF49CuRbKP7VX_o

Baer Bubbie is believed to be a pittie mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 64 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.

Baer is a social butterfly that loves people and loves adventures. He’s the perfect companion to take with you on hikes, trips to the beach, or even if you’re wanting a dog to take with you to meet up with friends at your local brewery or park, he’ll be a great boy to have around. We can also see him being a friendly co-host if you’re someone that likes to have friends and family over for BBQ cookouts in the backyard. Baer is also a boy that appreciates downtime as well. He can be a super social guy but does enjoy quiet time too. He really is one of those dogs that can do both. So if you’re looking for a fun social butterfly and also a cuddle buddy at the end of the day, Baer is your guy!

Baer is such a phenomenal dog and he is very dog friendly! When he initially meets dogs on leash, he’ll definitely be a chatty guy (which he is working on) and does best with off leash (of course supervised) intros. He’ll do a quick sniff, say his hellos and then he’s doing his own thing or he’ll be off playing in the water. He does like to play with his buddies but is also respectful of the dogs that don’t want to play with him. When he does play has a bouncy romp alongside his friends and enjoys lighthearted games of chase. He’s not a super physical contact type player but is very tolerant of it as well. He is the perfect mix of playful and calm, a happy medium. In a home, he would be best placed with another dog that can do both, play and also chill. Baer also isn’t the type of dog that needs another dog in the home to help him feel comfortable or to satisfy his energy needs. He is a confident, happy guy by nature and knows how to match whatever energy you need from him.

Baer also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. He did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around him as well. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing him with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for him to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know!

We know, he already sounds perfect and that’s because he is, but wait there’s more! Baer is a smart pants too, loves treats, and is eager to please. He already knows how to sit, responds well to corrections from his handlers, and is fairly easy to walk on a leash. When out and about on walks, he does pull on a leash out of excitement and does like to be a chatty boy when he sees other dogs walking by out of excitement as well. He is learning how to walk on a gentle lead to help with that and from his first training session, he was already showing such great improvement. With practice, consistency and structured leash walks, he’ll be walking around town like the good boy we know he is. Baer is also crate trained, potty trained, and has shown to have great house manners as well. His eagerness to please and willingness to learn means that any additional training you want to do with him will be a breeze and enjoyable for you both.

Baer loves to be outside exploring all the smells, zooming around, sunbathing in the sun, and his favorite…cooling off in any form of water. You’ll see in his video that he LOVED rolling around in the water and also the mud. He literally turned into a full blown hippo and was submerging his whole head under and loved rolling around in the mud. Baer was in absolute heaven! So make sure you have extra towels, because you’re going to need them! We believe he would be his happiest self in a home that has a backyard where he can do all of his favorite things, one being playing with toys. He loves toys, especially plushy ones with squeakers, and will happily bring them back to you as well.

Baer truly is the total package. He is handsome, playful, affectionate, and full of personality. The kind of dog who wins people over instantly and then keeps them smiling every single day after. We have not seen Baer with kids just yet and we can certainly arrange for him to meet some kiddos upon request. Based off what we already know about him, we do believe he would make a great companion for a family with kids. If you’ve been waiting for that fun-loving best friend who will happily join you for adventures and then cuddle up when the day is done, Baer is ready to fill that role perfectly.

We are willing to test Baer Bubbie with anything you need in order to sure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
