ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Phoenix is one of 8 puppies born in our care to a beautiful brindle coat mom in early February.
Notes from the foster: Phoenix may be the smallest of her litter, but don't let that fool you-this girl has presence. As the only female among her brothers, she's grown up knowing exactly how to hold her own... and usually ends up getting her way.
She's affectionate and loving, but with a confident, spirited edge that makes her stand out. Freyja isn't shy about claiming the coziest spot in the bed or making sure she's included in whatever is going on. She has a natural "I belong here" energy that makes her both endearing and a little bit hilarious.
And she's smart. Really smart. Phoenix is the kind of pup who will let her brothers do all the exploring... then casually step in and take over once the hard work is done. Efficient, strategic, and adorable about it.
She previously lived with other dogs (and has been exposed to cats) and is doing well, showing the typical adaptability you'd expect from a young puppy. She's also her mama's mini-both in her beautiful looks and her strong, confident personality.
