Popcorns story began on the side of a road in the High Desert, where she was being sold for just $20the price of a Happy Meal.

Like so many puppies born into difficult circumstances, her future was uncertain. Today, shes safe with rescue, thriving in a foster home in Valley Glen, California, and ready to find the loving forever family she deserves.

At just 9.5 weeks old and 9 pounds, Popcorn is a fluffy little mystery mix with the sweetest face and an even sweeter personality. Weve had people guess Jindo, American Eskimo Dog, Spitz, and a dozen other breedsbut the truth is, we honestly dont know. Thats one of the beautiful things about rescue puppies. Theyre often a magical mix of several breeds, and Popcorn is no exception.

What we do know is this:

Her fluffy coat is absolutely adorable.
Shes playful, curious, and full of puppy charm.
She loves people and is learning that the world is a safe place.
Shes guaranteed to make you smile every single day.

Popcorn has received her first puppy vaccine, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. She is looking for a family committed to helping her grow into the amazing dog shes meant to be through training, socialization, patience, and lots of love.

Because shes still a puppy, were looking for adopters who understand that puppies require time, consistency, and a lifelong commitment.

Our rescue will cover Popcorns spay surgery at Simi Valley Spay & Neuter Clinic when she is 6 months of age or older.

With a strong prey drive and territorial instincts, they excel as hunters and watchdogs. Their deep bonds with their owners make them loving companions, albeit not suitable for inexperienced owners.
