DESCRIPTION
Meet Teddy!
Teddy is a 9-year-old Pittie mix who is ready to find a soft place to land and a family to call his own.
Teddy was originally adopted from our shelter in 2021. This summer, he went through a traumatic experience after suffering heat stroke and severe wounds from being dragged across asphalt. Teddy received the veterinary care he needed, fought through an incredibly difficult time, and has pulled through! He is now healthy and ready for his next chapter.
Teddy is a great dog who loves spending time with his people. He's a couch potato at heart, but he also enjoys playing with his squeaky toys. More than anything, Teddy wants a family where he can be part of everyday life and spend his days surrounded by the people he loves.
Teddy would do best as the only pet in the home. A quieter environment without other dogs or cats would likely help him settle in and adjust comfortably.
We are currently looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home for Teddy. After everything he has been through, we would love to see him spend his golden years in a home where he can relax, feel safe, and be loved.
Could you be the one to give Teddy the happy ending he deserves?
Please give us a call at 412-672-8901 to learn more about fostering or foster-to-adopt opportunities for Teddy!
