Meet Athena 💛

Athena is a pocket bully weighing just 40 pounds at her heaviest—but don’t let her size fool you, this girl is full of strength and heart. She’s an incredible mama who gave birth to six puppies after being found alone in a field, just days from delivering.

Her journey hasn’t been easy. Athena faced serious complications during labor and while nursing, and there was a time we weren’t sure she would make it. But this resilient girl fought through it all—and today, she’s absolutely thriving.

Now, Athena is an athletic, confident, and incredibly loving dog. She adores people, does great with other dogs, and even gets along with cats. She has a playful, silly personality and isn’t shy about asking for attention when she wants it—which is often!

Athena is looking for a home with a strong, experienced handler who understands her breed and can continue to guide her. She would do best with an active person or family—running is her absolute favorite thing in the world, and she would love a companion who shares that passion (walks just don’t quite cut it for her!).

After everything she’s been through, Athena deserves a home where she can finally be the one getting all the love and care she so freely gives.

The American Bully is a companion breed known for its muscular build, friendly demeanor, and loyalty to its family. With a distinctive head shape and strong, compact body, these dogs are affectionate with children and make excellent family pets. American Bullies come in various sizes, from pocket to XL, and coat colors range from a solid coat to a tri color pattern. They thrive on regular exercise and early socialization to ensure they are well rounded and well behaved companions.
