Meet Gomer!

This handsome, big ol American Bully/Pit Bull Terrier mix is ready to find his forever family.

At around 4 years old and 75 pounds, Gomer is a BIG boy—and seriously, this guy is strong! Hell need a family who is confident and comfortable handling his strength. Because he doesnt always realize just how big he is, we feel hed do best with older, high-school-aged kids (13+).

But dont let his size fool you—Gomer is an absolute sweetheart. He came to Speranza from a neglect situation, but he hasnt let his past define him. He is happy, affectionate, and absolutely adorable, and we love seeing his personality shine.

Gomer has lived with other dogs in the past, but for now, were looking for a no-other-dogs home until we can learn more about how he interacts with them. No cats.

Hes a great kennel keeper and is walked by our volunteers who are able to handle his strength. Hes proving every day what a wonderful boy he can be.

Now Gomer just needs someone strong enough to handle all 75 pounds of love!

They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.
