Meet Dexter 🐾

Dexter’s story started the way too many puppies’ stories begin… alone and unwanted.

This sweet boy was found as a stray and brought to a shelter, and while we may never know what his short little life looked like before that day, his body tells us it wasn’t perfect. Dexter has a scar across his front leg — a quiet reminder that his beginning may have been a little rough.

But here’s the incredible thing about Dexter: he didn’t let that define him.

Despite whatever he’s been through, Dexter is pure love wrapped in puppy fur. He is the kind of puppy who believes the best place in the world is as close to you as physically possible. When he naps, he doesn’t just cuddle… he tries to morph directly into your body like a tiny, snuggly shadow.

Dexter has a gentle, affectionate personality and a curious little soul. He enjoys following his people around the house and will happily sit nearby to observe while you do chores, like a tiny supervisor making sure everything is done properly.

He is currently:

Working on potty training
Learning crate training
Doing great with other dogs of all sizes

Dexter is still just a puppy with lots to learn, but what he already has is the most important thing — a sweet, loving heart.

Because he is still too young to be neutered, his adoption fee includes:

All age-appropriate vaccinations
Microchip
Neuter surgery when he is old enough

Dexter is ready for the family who will show him that the rest of his life will be filled with safety, love, and warm naps right next to his favorite humans.
