This sweet 16-month-old 55-pound boy was rescued from a high-kill shelter after animal control stepped in and confiscated him from a backyard breeder situation. After surviving the tough early days no dog should ever have to endure, he finally made it to the safety. He came to us ready for a fresh start, and he's been shining ever since.

Chestnut is the definition of friendly and affectionate he loves people of all ages, gets along wonderfully with kids, and is great with other dogs and cats too. His gentle, loving nature makes him an instant favorite with everyone he meets. He's spayed, fully vaccinated, and all set to skip right into his forever home without any extra hurdles.
