Meet Martin.

Martin is a young guy—around 2 years old—with a heart as big as his goofy smile. This handsome, all-white boy with his adorable spotted ears weighs about 55 pounds and is getting ready for his fresh start. This week hell be neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.

Theres one thing that makes Martin a little different: hes deaf.

Being deaf doesnt stop him from loving people or enjoying life—it just means hell need someone willing to communicate with him in a different way. Martin is looking for a patient adopter or foster who will teach him the basics using hand signals and positive reinforcement. Since he was found as a stray, it doesnt appear anyone ever took the time to show him those skills.

The good news? Martin is incredibly sweet, eager to connect, and has all the makings of a wonderful companion. Hes a lovable, goofy young dog who deserves someone willing to invest a little time so he can become the amazing dog we know hes capable of being.
