Meet Fergus! This perfect little hippo is your dream come true, IF your dream is a dog who is:

Fergus is all of those things! He is a young boy, just around a year old, and he LOVES to play with other dogs! He would be fantastic in a home with another playful dog, and that's what we are hoping for him. Not an absolute requirement but sure would make him happy!

If you are looking for one of those dogs that you can take anywhere, sidewalk cafes, pubs, festivals, etc, Fergus is your guy. He will turn heads with his beautiful color, and then show that he has a disposition to match when everyone comes over to pet him!

He is in a home with several other dogs, and he just wants to play with everyone! We have not seem him with kids, but can't imagine he wouldn't be fine (other than accidentally knocking little ones over during play time!). We also haven't seen him with cats, so have no idea about that. All we know is that he doesn't have a mean bone in his body!

We also don't know what his life was like before he landed in an overcrowded shelter where he was almost euthanized for space, but judging from the hack job done on his ears we are guessing it wasn't great.

But Fergus hasn't let all of that erase his wonderful personality, and he is ready for the life he deserves with a loving family of his own!
