Rebel - American Bully Dog for Adoption in Battle Creek, Michigan

Rebel is a fun-loving dog who is guaranteed to make you laugh. He has a very expressive face and actually smiles when you get home after work! If you're looking for smiles, he will deliver!

Rebel is just turning two years old and was raised around other dogs, multiple people, and kids. He is well-socialized and outgoing.

Rebel is good with all dogs, big and small. He may be more focused on human attention vs dog bonding however, but that will depend on the other dog.

You should *want* a dog who likes human affection and cuddling. He rests his head on pillows like an adult and has been used to sharing the human's bed.

Laid back with bursts of energy, we'd prefer a fenced yard and someone with the ability to keep him well exercised.

Rebel likes to chew (on dog-safe items) and uses safe toys to keep occupied when we are away at work. You should enjoy shopping dog chews and toys.

Rebel was born with hardly any fur and what he does have is white with black spots! He is susceptible to sunburns and weather-related risks so be prepared with sunscreen and dog protective clothing! He is fair-skinned.

Rebel has sensitive skin that is prone to allergy symptoms. We avoid chicken-based foods as well as other turkey and duck, to be safe. He's had no allergy testing but it's been our experience that these types of foods can cause skin agitation. A fish-based or beef-based diet is likely most suitable for Rebel.

And speaking of food, Rebel is a grazer, at least when he's in a household without feeling competition from other dogs. We aren't sure if he'll eat more rapidly in the presence of other dogs but here he eats on and off all day long and does not overeat.
