DESCRIPTION
If you are looking for a dog with a heart of gold and absolute patience, meet Winston. This 2-year-old, 60 lb Bully mix (who stands a cute, stocky 2 feet tall) survived a heartbreaking past. Used for breeding and then abandoned tied to a fence when his owners moved away, Winston was saved by rescuers and placed in a high-volume shelter with over 40 barking dogs. Through it all, Winston showed his true colors: he is incredibly gentle, patient, and never responds or snaps back, even when other dogs bark at him.We initially thought Winston had a quiet, boring personality, but once he realized he was safe, his true colors blossomed! He is actually an incredibly spunky, loving, and energetic boy. One of his absolute favorite things to do is "Superman" flat on the cool ground on hot days. He absolutely lives for walks, belly rubs, and human attention. Winston has so much love to give and is ready to be the loyal, fun-loving companion you've been dreaming of.
