Athena - American Bulldog Dog for Adoption in Milton, Florida

Imagine being left outside during a hurricane, with nowhere safe to go, no one to protect you, and no idea if you're going to make it through the storm. That was Athena's reality. While the hurricane raged, Athena was left outside and ended up trapped in her kennel with trees lying over it. Just imagine how terrifying that must have been for a dog who had no way to escape and no understanding of why this was happening to her. But Athena made it through. Now, this girl deserves more than just surviving. She deserves to LIVE. She deserves a warm, safe place to call home. She deserves a family who will never leave her behind when life gets hard. She deserves to know what unconditional love feels like. Athena didn't deserve to be left behind.
She deserves to be someone's whole world. We can't change what happened to her, but we can help change what happens next. Athena is looking for her forever family. Someone who will open their heart and home to a girl who has already been through far too much. Please don't let her story end with the storm. Let it end with a family, a soft bed, a full belly, and a lifetime of love.
