Tyler Burt is a 4–5-year-old bully boy with a heart approximately 47 sizes too big for his body. This guy LOVES big—humans, dogs, critters... Tyler is simply thrilled to be included.
And honestly? His joy is remarkable considering what he survived.
Tyler was found near a dump after spending far too long on scorching concrete. His paw pads were shredded and burned, his nails terribly overgrown, his hip was dislocated, and his rear hock had been badly shattered. Yet somehow, through all of that pain, Tyler greeted the world like it had never done him wrong.
He is happy. He is goofy. He is affectionate. And more than anything, he just wants a human to call his own.
Tyler is preparing for hip surgery, and right now his biggest need is an URGENT MEDICAL FOSTER—preferably a stay-at-home or work-from-home foster who can be his healing buddy.
After surgery, Tyler will need someone willing to help him safely get around, follow his recovery instructions, give him lots of gentle TLC, help with approved massage/rehab exercises, and potentially incorporate swimming or other physical therapy once his incision is completely healed and his veterinary team clears him.
You do NOT have to be a medical professional. You just need a little patience, the ability to follow his care plan, and a whole lot of love.
Tyler has already done the hardest part: he survived.
Now he needs a human willing to help him heal. And we have a feeling whoever opens their home to this ridiculously loving boy is going to fall head-over-paws for him.
