DESCRIPTION
Ducky is a sweet, gentle bulldog mix looking for a loving home with someone who understands the breed and is open to discussing her medical needs—please call to learn more. She’s an incredibly easygoing girl who thrives in a calm, predictable environment and does best as the main focus of the home. Because of her physical needs, Ducky should be the only dog in the home, to prevent her from playing too much and causing herself potential harm. She needs help getting onto furniture, either by being picked up or using a ramp.
This low-key lady is all about the cozy life. Ducky loves cuddling on the couch, soaking up gentle massages, and sticking to a comfortable daily schedule. She’s not high energy—she’s a great sleeper, very chill, and wonderfully patient - but enjoys little zoomies now and again. During her time with us, she greeted new visitors with friendly curiosity. She’s alert when someone comes to the door but always welcoming to new faces.
ABOUT: AMERICAN BULLDOG DOG BREED
The American Bulldog is a powerful and athletic breed known for its strong build and confident demeanor. They are loyal, courageous, and make excellent family companions due to their affectionate nature. With proper training and socialization, American Bulldogs can thrive in various environments, from active outdoor lifestyles to relaxed indoor settings. Their distinctive appearance and protective instincts make them prized as both working dogs and beloved pets for those who appreciate their bold yet gentle temperament.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
