Meet Arnold!

Arnold may look like a big, tough guy, but underneath that exterior is a big softy who is just waiting to learn what it feels like to be loved. Arnold came to us through our Humane Agents after being removed from a situation where he wasn't receiving the care he deserved and was being kept in filthy conditions. His past has left its marks-both physically and emotionally-and he is understandably nervous in new situations.

Arnold can be a little head shy at first, but once he realizes you're there to help, he seems to enjoy gentle pets and attention. And underneath that cautious exterior is a silly side that starts to peek out when he feels comfortable! We think there is a wonderful personality waiting to shine through as Arnold learns that people can be kind and that he is finally safe.

Arnold is looking for a special family who understands that trust takes time. He needs patience, consistency, gentle guidance, and positive training to help him become the confident boy we know he can be. He may not be the dog who runs up to you asking for love on day one, but give him time, and you may just earn the love of a truly special dog.

Arnold has spent too much of his life without the love and care every dog deserves. Now, he deserves someone willing to show him that his past does not define his future. All Arnold needs is someone willing to give him the time, patience, and love to finally feel safe.
