Meet Roxy – Happy, Healthy, a Little Hefty

Roxy is a 2-year-old pit mix with a big heart and an independent spirit. She’s extremely food-motivated (snacks are the way to her heart!) and fully house-trained—she’ll patiently hold it until she’s let outside.

Roxy came to us after a bite incident, but it’s clear she was not at fault. Since arriving, she has shown zero aggression toward people. In fact, she tends to be more of a “do her own thing” kind of girl—happy to wander the yard, sniff the flowers, and enjoy life at her own pace.

She’s been around children and does just fine—she allows pets but isn’t overly clingy. Roxy is what we like to call “miss independent.” She’s not needy, not demanding—just a calm, easygoing companion who coexists peacefully in a home.

Roxy has had a litter in the past and is ready to leave that chapter behind and be someone’s beloved companion.
