DESCRIPTION
Sienna and her puppy were found by good Samaritan's several months ago in a not so good section of Houston, TX. They were missing fur, very malnourished, and in dire need of medical help. They were strays that had been living off whatever they could find to eat for quite a while. Sienna has come a long way and her fur is coming in nicely and she is gaining weight. She also had heartworms but is now being treated for them and in a short time will be heartworm free. The good thing is there does not seem to be any indication of having affected her health. She is a very good girl that loves to play and make people happy.
Sienna is currently in the Houston, TX area however transportation can be arranged. A portion of her adoption fee will be applied to transportation.
If you would like to learn more about Sienna, please text me 281-608-2368, Michelle. I would love to talk with you about this great girl.
ABOUT: ALASKAN MALAMUTE DOG BREED
The Alaskan Malamute is a powerful and dignified Arctic sled dog known for its strength, endurance, and friendly demeanor. Renowned for its wolf like appearance, this breed sports a dense double coat, erect ears, and a plumed tail. Originating from Alaska, these loyal and affectionate dogs thrive in cold climates and enjoy staying active. With a history deeply rooted in sledding and hauling heavy loads, the Alaskan Malamute is a devoted companion suitable for experienced owners who can meet their exercise and training needs.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
