Harrison is a handsome 3-year-old Akita/Shepherd mix weighing approximately 100lbs. With his noble presence and loyal heart, he makes a wonderful impression. Once you’re part of Harrison’s trusted inner circle, he is a devoted companion who loves staying close to his people.
Harrison is smart and knows his basic commands, but he is also an independent thinker. He will thrive with patient guidance, consistent training, and positive reinforcement. He is still working on his leash manners and needs an adopter who can help him build confidence and develop good habits through ongoing practice. He is eager to learn—especially when treats are involved!
Because of his size, strength, and personality, Harrison needs an experienced, dog-savvy adopter who is familiar with large breeds and committed to continuing his training. He will do best in a home that offers structure, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement. Harrison is not a match for a home with cats.
