Rasha is a four year old Akita with a goofy personality and a watchful nature. She loves a good game of chase, hiking, bike outings, and exploring outside. She also enjoys finding a high spot where she can perch and observe the world around her.

Rasha has been wonderful with the people she's met. She rides well in the car and walks nicely on leash, though she can get excited about an adventure. She does very well outside of a crate and can be crated with a little protest.

She has lived successfully alongside other dogs in her foster home, but we describe her as dog tolerant. She doesn't need a busy social life with other dogs, and any potential canine housemate will need thoughtful introductions and an individual assessment. Her foster is continuing to learn about her personality and preferences.

Rasha is looking for a home that understands and appreciates Akitas, provides clear guidance, and enjoys spending time outdoors. She's ready for her own people, her own adventures, and a place to call home.
