Meet Pretzel — A Special Boy Looking for a Special Home
Pretzel is a mostly blind, special-needs kitty looking for an adopter who understands that he will need a little extra patience, time, and understanding.
Because Pretzel has very limited vision, he needs a calm, quiet, and safe home where he can take his time learning his surroundings. Keeping his environment consistent, with his food, water, litter box, and favorite resting spots in predictable locations, will help him feel secure. His adopter will need to give him time to build confidence and adjust to his new world.
But don't let his special needs fool you—Pretzel is an incredibly sweet, quiet, loving boy. He absolutely loves lap time and gentle pets, and he has some of the best purrs you'll ever hear. His favorite toys are ones that make noise, which allows him to easily find and enjoy them.
Pretzel has already overcome so much. He was found soaking wet, huddled underneath a horse in a field and barely alive. He was rushed to the vet, where he spent three days recovering. Despite such a difficult start, Pretzel has remained a gentle and loving kitty.
Pretzel is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines.
Pretzel may need a little more understanding than the average cat, but he has so much love to give in return. If you have the patience and heart to give this special boy the safe, consistent, and loving home he needs, Pretzel could be your perfect match.
