These little headliners have been raised by two devoted mamas—and their story is pretty special.

On September 22, we were on our way to pick up a mama and her newborn kittens when we were asked whether we could also help another mama and babies at the same location. Both moms came from an area where a group of stray cats had been living, and they looked as though they might be related.

Once we got home, we realized Mama Kiss didn’t have milk to feed her babies. We had successfully paired up two nursing moms once before, so we carefully decided to give it a try and see if Mama Kiss and Mama Purrl Jam would be comfortable raising their families together.

They certainly were! They are best friends, and Mama Purrl Jam welcomed Kiss’s babies alongside her own. One mama provided the milk, and both provided love, comfort, and care. It was a blessing for everyone!

Born September 22 and September 24, these kittens will be eight weeks old November 17 and November 19. They will be ready for homes around those dates, as long as they’re healthy and cleared to go by our vet. We are accepting applications now!

Their “solo careers” begin soon, but everyone loves a good duet! We’d love to see them adopted in pairs so they can keep making music—and mischief—together.
