As with any rescue, Diego's history is a bit of a mystery, but we estimate he is approximately 3 years old. He is blessed with a wonderfully plushy face and a coat that is extraordinarily soft to the touch. He has clearly moved past the frantic kitten stage and settled into the calm, predictable grace of a young adult who knows exactly who he is: a professional lounger.
Diego is not your typical toy obsessed feline; he’s more of a spectator sport kind of guy. Rather than pouncing on feathers, he’d much rather sit nearby and watch you work, read, or relax. He is a calm, steady presence, the kind of cat who offers quiet companionship without demanding constant entertainment. It's worth noting that Diego is FIV+, which simply means his immune system is slightly lower than the average kitty’s. However, he doesn’t require any extra care beyond routine vet checkups — just a loving home where he can live his best life.

Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, VT, CT, VA, NY, PA, OH, MN, WI, IL, IN, KY, TN, MD, NC, SC & Canada (Canadian adopter must pick up in Washington state i.e. Bellingham, WA or closest U.S stop)! Our cats are brought to you in style by a beautiful private bus, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Pick-up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you!
The adoption fee is $600.00 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
