DESCRIPTION: This handsome boy is the kindest, sweetest, most gentle creature. He does not have a mean bone in his body.

The loving gent that he is, Zico just wants to be loved by his human family. He is a lap cat who loves petting and hanging out with you. He will greet you when he comes home and chat you up when he has something to say. You will also find him snuggling up to you at night.

Zico trusts his human with his life and he can easily be picked up.

Playful and energetic, he loves to play with toys. Typical of a Turkish Van, Zico loves heights. He loves to climb up and perch on the top of a scratch tree .... the taller the better!

He also adores being brushed. He is in absolute heaven. :)

The gentle sort that he is, Zico can easily be intimidated by cats that have a dominant or bossy personality but he is fine with cats that are as kind and gentle as he is.

He is also great with kids who are equally kind, gentle and respectful of him (i.e. no pulling his tail or chasing him in an aggressive or loud way).

A nature lover, Zico finds great joy in looking out the window to check out what the birds and squirrels are up to so a cats eye view of the great outdoors would be most appreciated.

When Zico was first rescued, he had a urinary tract infection. Male cats are especially susceptible to urinary tract issues with low quality cat food which Zico was likely on. He developed crystals. He was treated and put on a prescription diet for urinary tract health (wet and dry food). He has had no issues ever since. To be on the safe side, it is recommended that Zico continue to be on a maintenance diet that supports urinary health.

IDEAL HOME ENVIRONMENT: Zico would do well in any loving home with or without kind and gentle children and with another easy going cat or as an only pet.
