ABOUT: CALICO CAT BREED
The Calico cat is known for its unique tri color coat pattern of white, orange, and black. These cats are almost always female due to their genetics, with their striking coats often displaying a patchwork appearance. Calicos are not a specific breed but rather a color pattern found in various breeds, including American Shorthair and Persian. They are typically lively, affectionate, and confident felines, making them popular and charming companions in many households.
The Turkish Van is a striking and intelligent breed known for its unique semi longhaired coat, colored mainly in white with distinct markings on the head and tail. Originating from the Lake Van region in Turkey, these cats are highly energetic, playful, and sociable, forming strong bonds with their human families. Renowned for their love of water, Turkish Vans are excellent swimmers and enjoy splashing around. Their affectionate nature and lively personality make them a popular choice for families seeking an active and engaging feline companion.
