Aurora - Turkish Angora Cat for Adoption in Penryn, California

Aurora is a 7 year old Turkish Angora that came to us having never been to the vet, suffering from a pyometra that needed emergency surgery.

She is very people friendly, and has proven to be good with kids as young as 2 years old! Aurora would be happiest in a single pet household, as she does not like other animals in her space. She has been coexisting with her foster brothers, but growls and hisses when they come near.

Because Aurora is no longer a kitten, she does get nervous in new environments and will prefer to hide for the first few days to a week; but as she gets comfortable she will start to constantly ask for pets and cuddles. While she will happily snuggle up on your lap, she is not a fan of being picked up/held.
