Prudence Burk - Tortoiseshell Cat for Adoption in Somerset, Kentucky

Prudence is shy and cautious to a fault but clearly wants very much to trust. Prudence and her siblings, Bruce and Idgie, are now six month old (Oct. 2026) fully vaccinated, combo tested and spay/neutered and ready for their forever homes. They were born under a rusty wreck of a car in the country-side, thankfully their foster rescued them and Mom Demelza when they were a week or two old. They are playful healthy normal kittens.

The Tortoiseshell cat is known for its unique coat pattern that blends various hues of red, black, and orange in a striking mosaic. These cats are predominantly female due to the genetics behind their coat coloration. Tortoiseshells are often affectionate and independent, with individual personalities that shine through. Their coats are a beautiful patchwork of colors, making them highly sought-after pets for cat lovers seeking a companion with a vibrant and dynamic appearance.
